SHAINE MIER

My name is Shaine Mier and I am the Owner of Veterans Choice Contracting and Mier Land Development. My main passions are anything to do with my 3 kids, Riley, Aubrey and Jensen. I love to watch them perform and play in youth sports organizations. My second favorite passion is traveling with my girlfriend and all of our kids. A close third is anything outdoors. I am an avid hunter and fisherman. I enjoy boating and being out in nature as much as my schedule allows. My goal is to continue to grow year over year, at a controlled and deliberate manner, and to use that continued success to be able to give back to the Quad Cities, and surrounding communities. I grew up doing construction jobs, working for various contractors. I later joined the Iowa Army National Guard, where I was able to grow and learn the necessary skills and values, to become a leader of companies. I graduated from Pleasant Valley High School and then went on to study Criminology at Scott Community College. I grew up in the small town of LeClaire, and now reside on the outskirts of Davenport.
